Dietary Reset Plan (7-10 days)
Pre-cleanse 2-5 days* before kitchari begin to eliminate:
alcohol
sugary coffee creamers
option to wean off coffee (if you choose not to thats ok)
all oils except ghee, olive or organic coconut oil
processed foods
slowly eliminate all meat 2 days before cleanse day 1
added sugar
gluten/wheat
dairy/eggs
beans
tomato, eggplant, peppers
stop taking any dietary supplements* and vitamins for the duration of the cleanse
What to eat during pre-cleanse as you slowly eliminate the above foods replace with:
Foods from the LIfe-Giving Food list
herbal teas/green tea
coffee replacement use mushroom coffee as needed
veggie soups
steamed veggies, sweet potato, squash, steamed white potato
organic gluten-free oatmeal w/ cooked fruit
Quinoa with veggies
white fish and shrimp for protein
cooked fruit
fruit smoothies or veggie smoothies
avocados
dates, figs, a few nuts ok

reintroduce animal proteins/dairy/eggs slowly and in small portions
look for troublemakers
observe how you feel (physically and mentally)
